Michael Melluzzo - Creative Director
When Mission Control was founded in 2001, the partners sought
a creative force with a background in corporate/consumer
advertising who could bring a fresh look and unique perspective
to political
mail. When they couldn’t find such a person, they grabbed
a man walking past their office and offered him the job.
Enter Michael Melluzzo.
Michael formerly served as Art Director at O’Neal and
Prelle, a prestigious Connecticut firm, and at Maher/Hartford,
Inc., where he created national and local ad campaigns for
such diverse clients as Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Toyota, Duracell,
in addition to gaming projects for the Connecticut Lottery
and Foxwoods Resort Casino.
While at Mission Control, Michael has been awarded dozens
of “Pollie” Awards
for his political ads and has been a key reason behind the
electoral success of Mission Control. His presence around
the office is underwhelming to say the least.
A devoted boater, Michael spends every possible minute away
from work on his boat, the Kimberly V, patrolling the waters
of Long Island Sound. A devoted husband and father, he spends
every minute away from his boat with his family.
