Luke Quandt - Senior Account Executive

Luke Quandt joined Mission Control in 2006 carrying on the firm's tradition of recruiting political staff out of Iowa. Luke, an Iowa native, began working in politics during the 2000 caucuses for Al Gore's campaign in Black Hawk County. After spending post-caucuses in college and volunteering in New Mexico, he returned to Iowa where he worked for such candidates as the one-and-only Congressman Dave Nagle, Governor Howard Dean, and Mike Blouin in primaries and as a part of the coordinated campaign for the 2002 re-election of Governor Vilsack and Senator Harkin. Luke, never one to stay in the same place, has also worked campaigns in Louisiana, Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, South Carolina and Minnesota. He also took a 5-month reprieve from politics to move to Alaska and live on the outskirts of Denali National Park to explore "the last frontier."

Now, at Mission Control, Luke spends most of his time targeting mail universes, writing unique and well crafted literature, and taking part in the development of campaign strategy. Although Luke is contracted out for 2 years with Mission Control, he is considered a short term employee until July, when he will be in Pamplona, Spain for the annual festival of San Fermines. If he returns in one piece, and without any significant damage due to a bull horn being lodged in his rear, he will continue on as a full-time/long term employee.
